Hanna was paid a visit on her turf by Sofia and her family. She sent a text message to us—along with some photos—regarding her perception of how Sofia is fitting in with the adoptive parents family (they have an older son Jax who was also adopted but from a different birthmother).

They all get along soooo well! Jax completely loves her!

Earlier my aunt and uncle and cousins and grandparents came over, and my grandpa started playing Itsy Bitsy Spider, and then everyone joined in and when the song was finished she busted out laughing and clapping and jumping around…

It was amazing to see all of us playing with her and see how much everyone adores her.

Other than her birth, it was probably the greatest moment of my life

Hanna has a tremendous testimony. There are times when it’s hard to see God working through difficult times, but sometimes God seems to make it obvious that He is working (Rom. 8:28).

In Hanna’s case there were so many times that God could be seen at work that it’s impossible for me to not have a tingle run down my spine as I dwell on how God worked out the details of Hanna’s pregnancy and subsequent adoption plan.

Praise God for creating Sofia and all her wonderful family members!
