Saturday in the Park

Hannah spent the afternoon on Saturday with her baby’s adoptive parents.
They talked about baby names. Hannah is having a boy.
Some of their considerations: Samuel, Andrew, Kaiden, Gavril, Gavin, Elijah. There’s a lot of time to decide on a name. The baby is due the first week of September.
The couple, Jon and Anna, took Hannah out to the park where they allowed Jon and Anna’s 5-year-old to play at the playground and allowed them time to talk.
Hannah was excited about the meeting, both before and after.
“They’re really great. I like them a lot!”

Hannah, I am so proud of you for making these hard decisions these past months…The family you chose for adoptive parents look very nice. TALL, (opposite of our family!!) with Scandanavian looks (like us).
I pray for you all the time, and prayed through this time (of choosing adoptive parents): so I am confident that these are the people who God brought to you, “for such a time as this…” I continue to pray for them, for you, that these will be times of blessing , of beauty for ashes, of Him drawing you close to Him.
And of course, I begin to cry when I think of the wonderful home that Doug and Karla have given you during this time, a home of help, of counsel, of Godly standards and examples…Harbor means a refuge from the storm, a quiet place to rest from the storm..and HH has truly been that to my daughter, to you Hannah girl, and my heart will ever be truly grateful for them.
Keep looking to the Forgiver (as Doug rightly calls the Lord) my little one, May He lead you to the one true “Path of
righteousness” always and always, and in all of our ways may we seek to please Him. Love, your mum
